Erica Schomaker
Erica Schomaker has been the Roger Bacon Head coach for 10
years and has been a head coach at the high school level for 21 years. Erica was named MVC Coach of the Year for the
‘24 – ’25 season to go along with being named GCL Coach of the Year in 2006
(Girls), 2007(Boys), 2008(Girls & Boys), 2009 (Girls & Boys), 2010
(Girls), 2011 (Girls), 2012 (Girls). Erica has coached numerous state
qualifiers and placers in both individual and relay events. In 2025 the Roger
Bacon girls team finished 11th at the state meet, the highest finish
in school history. Prior to coaching at
Roger Bacon, Erica started coaching at Purcell Marian High School entering her
21st year there. She has also coached
through the YMCA for 10 years, and a local summer recreation team for 3 years.
