ST. BERNARD, Ohio – Roger Bacon Athletics is proud to announce the addition of Trey Hennekes to the athletic department for the 2025–2026 school year. Hennekes will serve as an Athletics Administrative Assistant.
“We are thrilled to have Trey Hennekes join the Athletic Department in a full-time capacity,” said Steve Rossi, Athletic Director at Roger Bacon. “Trey has shown tremendous skills and capabilities as an Assistant Football Coach as well as Head Track and Field Coach for Roger Bacon. His abilities and leadership will translate into his new role within the athletic department and the school community.”
Hennekes, a 2017 Roger Bacon graduate, enters his third year at Roger Bacon and currently serves as the Head Track and Field Coach, Assistant Football Coach, and building substitute.
“Trey also distinguished himself when he was a student-athlete at Roger Bacon. He was the GCL Co-ed Offensive Player of the Year for Football and also part of the 2017 Boys Basketball State Finals team,” added Rossi.
“I’m incredibly grateful and excited to be joining the Roger Bacon Athletic Department,” said Hennekes. “This community means a lot to me, and I’m looking forward to giving back and helping our student-athletes grow both on and off the field. I’m excited to see our teams compete for championships and represent Roger Bacon with pride.”
