St. Bernard, Ohio - Congratulations to Allister Fike and Blake Rohling on earning MVC AOTW honors!

Allister, a junior, shot 74 (+3), 69 (-3), and 70 (-2) over three tournaments this week, finishing in second place in the Madeira Invitational, third place in the Miamisburg Invitational, and first place (overall medalist) at the National Trail Invitational in Richmond, Indiana. His efforts helped the Roger Bacon Spartans win three consecutive tournaments this week. Allister is not only an excellent golfer, but is one of our highest character students and has embraced a leadership role this year on the golf team. Hail Spartan! Over the same three tournaments this week, Blake, a sophomore, fired a +6 77 (third place), an EVEN 72 (second place), and a school-record setting 65 (-7) to claim first place and overall medalist in the Miamisburg Invitational at Pipestone. His leadership, intensity, and competitive drive are the heartbeat of our team, and has spring boarded Roger Bacon into contenders this season. Blake is active on the junior tour and is even playing at the University of Notre Dame this weekend. Hail Spartan!
