ST. BERNARD, Ohio - Roger Bacon Athletics welcomes three new head coaches this Fall. Jack Kunkel joins the Girls Golf team as their new head coach, and Rajah Shepard and Hannah Clark-Havron join the Cheer program as head coaches.

Jack is a University of Cincinnati graduate where he golfed for 4 years. He was an All-State golfer in high school and recently recorded a personal best 63, an unofficial record at Ivy Hills. Dedicated to sharing his love for the sport, Kunkel is excited to lead the Girls Golf program.

Shepard, a 2018 Roger Bacon grad, returns to her alma mater as the Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach and Cheer Coordinator, bringing over a decade of cheerleading experience and a deep passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the sidelines.

As a proud Spartan, Shepard cheered Varsity throughout her high school career, building the foundation for her love of teamwork, school spirit, and leadership. Before returning to Roger Bacon, she served as the Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach and Cheer Coordinator at the Spencer Center for Gifted & Exceptional Students in Cincinnati Public Schools, where she spent three years building a new cheer program from the ground up. During her tenure, she trained student-athletes in performance skills, fostered teamwork and sportsmanship, and emphasized academic accountability, community involvement, and personal growth.

Hannah Clark-Havron is a 2017 graduate of Roger Bacon and returns to the Cheer program as its new Junior Varsity Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach. She cheered for both Fall and Winter Cheer as a Spartan and is excited to return to her alma mater to give back to the program.
