The Roger Bacon Spartans dropped their season opener on Friday night to Indian Hill. The Spartans’ touchdown came on an 8-yard pass from Bubba Smart to De’vion Gipson. On the ground, Ja’mere Mitchell carried the ball 16 times for 86 yards to lead the offense. Defensively, Evan Otto intercepted a pass in the second quarter. Tom Bedinghaus recorded 10 tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss, while Max Hoffmann added 9 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss.

The Spartans will look to bounce back in their home opener this Friday, August 29th at 7:00 p.m.
