ST. BERNARD, Ohio - Roger Bacon Cross Country is set to compete at the OHSAA DIII Cross Country District Championship this weekend. The Spartans will race at Voice of America (VOA) Park on Saturday, October 18th.

Girls race: 11 AM.
Avery Bowlin, Helen Russell, Emily Hull, Karis Stoxen, Magdalena Rucker, Megan Plas, and Saffi Vaughn will compete for Roger Bacon
Boys race: 11:30 AM
Bryce Fletcher, Fritz Russell, Isaac Namaky, Jesse Leo, Joe Zlatic, Nathan Kowalski, and Sam Bova will compete for Roger Bacon.
The Spartans have seen a lot of personal bests this season and a couple Invitational Championships. The Spartans won the Clark Montessori 2-Mile Invitational earlier this season and the Roger Bacon Boys Cross Country team finished 1st in the Seven Hills Invitational in September. Both teams look to qualify for Regionals. In DIII Girls Cross Country, the top 8 teams and then 16 individuals who place the highest in the race from the teams that do not qualify will get to race at Regionals.
On the DIII Boys Cross Country side the top 7 teams and then 14 individuals who place the highest in the race from teams that do not qualify will get to race at Regionals.
