ST. BERNARD, Ohio - The Roger Bacon girls basketball team defeated Summit on Wednesday, 51-44. It was a true team win with multiple Spartans contributing on the scoreboard, led by Leah Schoster with 13 points and Anna Schlichter with 10. Logan Hasan added 8, Lena Vondrell scored 7, Grace Weidner had 6, and AB Piening finished with 5. With the win, the Spartans earned the season sweep of Summit, the first time the program has done that since joining the MVC in 2021. Roger Bacon is back in action this Saturday at Ursuline for a JV/Varsity double header, starting at noon.
