ST. BERNARD, Ohio - The Roger Bacon Girls Basketball team defeated Cincinnati Christian 49-39 to move to 12-9 on the season. The win guarantees the Spartans will finish the regular season above. 500 for the first time since the 2020-2021 season. Before the game, RB recognized Senior Aliya Gapultos. Aliya is planning on studying Sports Media and Biology next year at the University of Alabama.

The Spartans made sure Aliyah's final game at Fogarty ended in a win. After trailing 21-23 at half, RB outscored the Cougars 24-6 in the 3rd quarter to jump out to a 45-29 lead and would hold onto that lead to get the 10 point victory.

RB is now 12-9 heading into Thursday's game at Washington Courthouse. Tip-off is set for 6 PM. (Varsity only)
