ST. BERNARD — Roger Bacon Athletics would like to welcome Justice Guerrero as the new Head Track & Field Coach. Guerrero currently serves as the Head Junior Varsity Coach and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator for Roger Bacon Football. He also helped lead the Roger Bacon Indoor Track & Field team in its first season competing in the OTCCC.
“We are thrilled to have Justice as our Head Track & Field Coach,” said Roger Bacon Athletic Director Steve Rossi. “He has been with both our track and football programs for the past couple of years and is doing a fantastic job with this opportunity.”
Since 2020, Guerrero has worked as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor for Do Your Body Justice. In that role, he works with individuals and teams ranging from middle school athletes to the elderly, creating customized training plans for team sports, marathon runners, military personnel, first responders, and individuals looking to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Guerrero has been coaching multiple sports in several states since 2013. Prior to joining the Roger Bacon football staff, he served at Mt. Healthy Performance Academies as the Head Tennis Coach, Assistant Martial Arts Coach, and Assistant Soccer Coach, where he planned and instructed fundamentals and tactics for the tennis program while also assisting with the soccer and martial arts programs.
From 2021–2024, Guerrero served as the Head Baseball Coach, Head Wrestling Coach, and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator at Brown County High School (TN). Before that, he spent three years in Arizona as the Head Coach of the Grand Canyon University Club Football program and as the Head JV Baseball Coach and Director of Strength & Conditioning at Arcadia High School.
Guerrero began his coaching career in 2013 at North Monterey County High School (CA) as the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator, where he assisted with the varsity, JV, and freshman football programs.
He earned his B.S. in Psychology with an emphasis in Performance from Grand Canyon University in 2020 and his M.A.Ed. in Athletic Coaching Education from Ball State University in 2023. Guerrero was an Airborne Infantryman for the United States Army in Anchorage, Alaska from 2010-2012.
