CROSS COUNTRY - Roger Bacon Cross Country traveled to the Eaton Invitational on Saturday morning and had a great day of racing! Bryce Fletcher led the way with a 1st place finish and a time of 16:53, making him the FIRST Spartan to run a 5K in under 17 minutes since 2009. Other boys followed up Bryce’s lead with season-best times, including Mason Adams, Kameron Griffin-Harris, Jesse Leo, William Nye, Will Zlatic, Fritz Russell, and Joe Zlatic.

The girls were led with a 10th-place finish by Karis Stoxen, with 8 Spartan girls posting season best times: Gia Ater de Lemos, Katie Cervantes, Fatima Hernandez, Logan Patmon, Paisley Sanborn, Nola Schuman, Saffi Vaughn, and Ansleigh Uihlein. Ansleigh has also been named an MVC runner of the week for stepping up and racing in 3rd position for the Spartan girls on Saturday.
